Our Founder
Hatim Husain
Hatim Husain was a former Chief Executive of Habib Bank AG Zurich with over 40 years of banking experience. He started his career with Habib Bank Limited (HBL) in Pakistan in 1964 and was posted overseas with the bank in 1969 in Bahrain, Manama. He joined Habib Bank AG Zurich after the nationalization of HBL in 1974. As the first employee of the newly formed venture of the Habib Family, he was instrumental in establishing the business in all the major cities in the UAE; spearheading the head office of the organization; and setting up the bank’s subsidiary network. Throughout his distinguished career, he served private clients and was to a large extent responsible for the formation of the private banking division of the bank. Turicum Asset Management AG was founded on his vision to provide select clients with premium and tailored wealth management services. Our mission is to continue his legacy and serve our clients with integrity, humility, benevolence and dedication. |

Hashim Husain
Hashim Husain has over 15 years of experience in marketing and sales and account management. He started his career with Unilever in Switzerland as product manager and later transitioned to the biotech industry as a marketing executive for Prionics AG. After supporting this business through a critical growth period, he now turns his attention to managing client relationships at Turicum Asset Management AG. |
Zohair Husain
Zohair Husain has over 20 years of experience in management consulting and financial services. He has worked for top tier firms including Goldman Sachs, the Boston Consulting Group, DiamondCluster and Credit Suisse. His direct work experience in the banking sector covers a plethora of different roles and responsibilities ranging from defining client service models to structuring investment products. At Turicum Asset Management AG Zohair takes the lead in developing the investment strategies of the firm and managing client portfolios. |
Michael Al Wazzan
Michael has over 20 years of experience in product management and sales distribution of management funds and investment strategies for institutional clients. Prior to joining Turicum Asset Management AG, he was responsible for distribution to international clients at Julius Baer Asset Management and GAM Investments. During his distinguished career he was successful in raising over USD 5 billion in AuM for various investment strategies. At Turicum Asset Management AG he is in charge of marketing and sales of our Indian subcontinental offering, including the representation of Nippon Life India Asset Management in Switzerland. |
Heinz Roetheli
Heinz Roetheli has a long and successful career in private banking that began with the Swiss Banking Corporation in the 1970s. Later he transitioned to ING, where he was responsible for developing the asset management department in Zurich, and then to Bank Julius Baer. From this lengthy experience, he has a deep understanding of financial markets and the tradition of Swiss Private Banking, which he now uses to attend to the needs of a select group of clients at Turicum Asset Management AG and help develop the investment strategy. |
Board Members
Asif Hussain
Director Asif is a Sloan Fellow and has 15+ years of diversified experience in the Financial Services sector. He has worked with some of top banks in Pakistan and Canada including Bank Alfalah Limited and Royal Bank of Canada. As Head of Investment Banking at Bank Alfalah, Asif was involved in setting up of large-scale businesses in more than twenty diverse economic sectors. At RBC, Asif worked in the Credit Risk and adjudicated capital markets transactions emanating from North America, Europe, Asia and Australia . Asif has held various directorships in Pakistan, has also been on the Board of Trustees of Institute of Business Administration and has been a visiting faculty member for the MBA class at IBA. |
